OHS hopes to make Friday the 13th a lucky day for dog Rory

November 13, 2009
For immediate release

The Ottawa Humane Society (OHS) is hoping that Friday the 13th will be a lucky day for one of its longest-term residents. Rory is a two-year-old Pointer mix who has been at the shelter since the beginning of August. A lively boy, Rory’s looking for an energetic family who can provide him with the daily exercise he’ll need. Also a bit of an escape artist, clever Rory will need to be carefully supervised so he doesn’t wander from home.

Rory’s great with older kids who can keep up with his antics, and some training would help polish his manners. This happy, wiggly dog would be a wonderful addition to an on-the-go family.

This week has already seen one long-awaited adoption, as Ripley, a dog who was at the shelter since July, finally found a forever home. Now it’s Rory’s turn.
