King Henry VIII

Considering adopting a guinea pig? We’ve have many at the shelter to choose from! One little fella who’s been here for two months is King Henry VIII (A116485). He is a 3 year old, American short hair guinea pig, with white, brown and black fur. He needs an owner that can give him love and affection. The average life span for guinea pigs is four to eight years. They need daily exercise and someone to play with them to keep them healthy and happy. Guinea pigs should be fed freely guinea pig pellets as well as timothy hay. Guinea pigs need lots of vitamin C in their diet: fresh daily vegetables are a must for these pets. If you feel like being a proud owner of a guinea pig, contact the Ottawa Humane Society at 613-725-3166 ext. 258 or adoptions@ottawahumane.ca.
