Demi (A127261) is a beautiful cat who was brought in to the shelter by a Good Samaritan. She was admitted with an injury to her tail tip. (A cow had stepped on it).
The OHS vet cleaned and bandaged Demi and put her on antibiotics. Unfortunately, while waiting for her surgery, Demi came down with URI and the tail amputation had to be postponed. This meant her tail bandage had to be changed frequently while she continued to receive pain medication, and treatment for the URI.
Demi finally recovered from the URI and a tail amputation was scheduled. The surgery was success, and Demi is currently recovering in foster care.
Please help Demi, and other animals like her in need of emergency animal treatment, by making a donation.
