Pumba and Princess

Two pot-bellied pigs found wandering in a busy section of suburban Ottawa have a temporary home at the Ottawa Humane Society.

The staff nicknamed the piggies Pumba and Princess, and they have been enjpying lots of outdoor time at the OHS facility at 245 West Hunt Club Road.

The pigs, which are approximately five months old, were found in the area of Greenbank and Baseline roads and brought in by a member of the public.

The curious pigs, one found with a pink harness, the other a blue one, will be rehomed outside the city because pot-bellied pigs are a restricted animal in the City of Ottawa.
